Out-yards
All chapters
A field only feeds so many colonies. Past that, they share the same nectar and each makes less. Out-yards, a friend's orchard, an estate's lime avenue, a heath, spread the colonies across more forage. Landowners are often glad of the bees and the pollination; rent is modest, sometimes paid in honey.
