Selling from the Farm
A roadside stand at the going rate would clear four hundred and sixty kilos of honey a year if the district ever brought that much past it. Four hives make forty. The stand was never the limit; the road is, and what it brings is a regular buying a jar or two, not a harvest. Selling is not a switch thrown once the crop is in. It is a choice, made night after night, between the co-op's coin today and the stand's coin spread over a month of them.
